REAL FAMILY
ADVENTURES
We're Alissa and Dani, and we travel with our two kids the way we actually like to travel — nature first, packed light, and mostly away from the hotspots. Every trip turns into an itinerary here that you can copy, adjust, and use for your own family.

Why we travel like this
Before Dani and before the kids, I spent eighteen months travelling and ended up in forty countries. That trip is the reason this site exists — not the photos, but the parts I didn't plan, like the three days I spent with a nomadic family in western China without a word of shared language.
Now we go where nature takes centre stage, we pack light, and we leave the days loose. We usually skip the hotspots for somewhere smaller, which is why we stayed in Selfoss instead of Reykjavik, and why a lot of our best trips are closer to home than people expect.
